Experienced UEFA Pro coach, QPR U23's Senior Professional Development Coach and previous QPR U18's Head Coach
I have 35+ years experience and in-depth insight in the Football industry. Incorporating a successful distinguished career as a Professional Footballer, domestically and internationally, and then into coach development for the last 15 years. A journey that has taken me through all levels of the game, from grass roots to elite football.
I have been fortunate to have won promotion a number of times and played at the highest level, in the Premiership and captained the teams I have represented, Watford FC and Burnley FC amongst others, while also being involved in a World Cup campaign.
I am qualified and hold the highest coaching qualification, UEFA Pro license, alongside a number of qualifications including Advance Youth Award and Level 2 Awareness of Mental Health problems. I am currently working for QPR FC as a Professional Development Coach and Essex County Football Association as a Coach Developer while also being a board member.
My knowledge and experience gained in various organisations has given me the ability to communicate effectively with staff, connect with people and coach not just at elite level, but all levels. To influence players and coaches with game understanding and to create an environment that is safe, inclusive, enjoyable, predictable and educational at the forefront.
